Tried to smoke a brisket at 180 overnight for my birthday weekend. Woke up to this. Looks like the pellets in the auger caught fire and burned all the way into the hopper. Probably my fault I’m sure. Lucky I didn’t burn the house down. 😐 pretty discouraging.
