It’s hard to find something we like more than a beautiful sunset at the RV park, but we managed to think of some things. Which one resonates with you more? 😆

1. Backing in a 40-foot fifth wheel perfectly on the first try
2. A picnic table with zero sticky mystery spots
3. Respectful neighbors who pick up after their dogs
4. An RV trip without something breaking
5. Hooking up the sewer hose and not having a single incident
6. Finding out the slide-out actually slides out
7. Full hookups AND a level site
8. A water heater that’s still hot at shower number four
9. That one cabinet latch that finally stays shut
10. Sitting down after setup is finished and hearing the pfft of a cold can

The season is winding down, and some of our workampers are already saying their goodbyes.

This summer, they didn’t just help keep Black Hawk Creek RV Park & Cabins running — they helped build it. A beautiful community garden. A new mailroom. Cabin renovations that’ll be here for years to come. And along the way, a lot of good conversations, shared drinks and meals, birthday celebrations and special moments, and memories that’ll stick with us long after the season ends.

To our workampers: thank you for showing up, working hard, and becoming part of this place. We hope you carry a little bit of Black Hawk Creek with you wherever the road takes you next. 👋❤️
