Parts Sales / Customer Service Representative
A-1 Auto Recyclers is a locally owned family business that has proudly served the Rapid City area for over 50 years. We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Parts Sales / Customer Service Representative.
This position requires a proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities, building customer relationships, and delivering outstanding service. The ideal candidate enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries, purchases, and service requests
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Recommend products and services based on customer needs
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
• Stay informed on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales opportunities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Qualifications
• Previous automotive parts sales and customer service experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs.)
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Self-motivated with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
Benefits
• Compensation: $55,000 – $80,000 annually, depending on sales performance
