I know I don't post much, but let's change that a little. This is my first big project in the new shop besides my C10. Everyone who's had a conversation with me knows, I'm a Chevy pickup guy but mustang's will always be on my wishlist, this customer needs help getting this back together and running, I'll try to update as we go. Maybe he'll let me break in the new tires haha. Here's to hoping

It's been a long winter, but I finally got Seamus's truck running good enough to drive it home, still got a ways to go to be how I think he would love it, but I hope he's as proud of it as I am. I'm building as much by hand, just like he would have, and I always encourage others to build their dreams, instead of buying them, it makes memories that last and I want this to be as special as he was, 8 months since I saw you and heard your voice, I miss you. Love you.

It is with great sorrow that I post, we lost our soon to be son in law recently and DNFA Repair will be not in operation August 10-12 to be with family while we celebrate and lay our loved one to rest, he was a great advocate for the work we do, some customers got to meet him when he came with to assist and he will always be remembered as a people person, who made a friend in everyone and wouldn't leave you without assistance when you needed it. His love for our family will be remembered greatly and we hope to do him justice in celebrating the kind hearted person he was, our daughter lost her fiancee and we as parents lost the man we called our son. We greatly appreciate those that we have had to reschedule or refer elsewhere for their understanding and nice words, I will try to assist customers before and after these dates, but please understand, if I can't make it to you, it's not because I don't want to, I just find it harder to leave my family by themselves at this time, and I will refer you to associates of mine when possible.

It pains me to have to write this, after having a procedure on my leg one day and a double hernia surgery the following day I had tried to get back to work after 2 months of mandatory rest, I was able to help a few travelers and on the fourth call, I got my truck ready and put in some Lucas Oil Treatment, made it about 5 miles and then the low oil light came on, before I could pull over and shut it down, the engine seized. I am not able to offer all the services I had been doing in the past, and until I can afford a replacement motor or to buy another truck I will continue to offer diagnostics, lock out and light repair, but rest assured I will answer the phone and if it's a job a little out of my reach for the moment I will get you pointed in the right direction as I do maintain a good relationship/ affiliation with some great businesses in the area.

P.S. if anyone knows someone with an old work truck just sitting and could be running again, please have them get a hold of me, I don't have much for money as the surgery recovery time took every penny I saved and loans are not an option as I have been out of work, but I do have tools and automotive stuff I could trade.

Had a little down time, so I went ahead and started rebuilding a Subaru Impreza, got a manual trans installed, now to build an exhaust so I can test drive it, this is exciting, it's been awhile since I got to build a project vehicle for myself, on another note, don't lower a vehicle unless you know what you're doing haha, wasted a whole day to find some wires that were rubbed thru and corroded because previous owner put lowering struts on it without doing the job proper, smh. Might post some pics, who knows, hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather.

Been a busy week and it's half over, made a couple out of town trips to help some travelers and got a couple local vehicles taken care of, if anyone is needing any help shoot me a message or text and I'll get you taken care of. Hope everyone had a good 4th of July.

It's been quite a week, but I now know I can swap axles on campers and trailers, and on the plus side my name is getting out there in a good way. Thank you to everyone who recommends me, I really appreciate it, and I feel very fortunate to still be able to help people in and who visit our community (and save them a lot of money on repairs)
