Occasionally we get asked how a seemingly simple repair can be so expensive. “How can it cost $1,000 to replace a radiator?”
Back in the good ol’ days it took about an hour to replace a radiator. There were a few hoses to remove and 4-8 bolts. It was a pretty simple straightforward repair. Cars aren’t like they used to be. This is what we are now faced with. A 6+ hour repair. Trust me, I don’t like it anymore than you do.

One of our company’s core values is ownership. This means taking ownership and pride in the work we do. Unfortunately we are not perfect and we sometimes make mistakes, but we also take ownership of those. We don’t try to come up with a story about what happened and try somehow to get the customer to pay for it. We take ownership, fix our mistakes at no cost, and make it right for the customer, even if it is an expensive, time consuming repair that requires engine disassembly. Fortunately, it doesn’t happen very often.
