Ransomville Speedway

Ransomville Speedway Friday night DIRTcar racing and Thursday night go-kart racing in the heart of Niagara from May-September.

The original Ransomville Speedway was built behind Ed Ortiz's service garage in the mid-1950s, in order to keep the kids from racing on the village streets. In 1958, the Ransomville Slo-Pokes purchased the land and built the current Ransomville Speedway on Braley Road. During the mid-70s, Stan Friesen purchased the speedway and alongside his family, owned and operated Ransomville for 42 seasons. I

n December of 2015, the Atwal family purchased the facility and immediately began plans of renovations, including a new concession stand, souvenir stand, track office building, and the state of the art jumbotron. A new tech barn was built in 2018, alongside new concrete pads. With an emphasis on the race fan experience and commitment to the racers, Ransomville Speedway looks forward to having you race and visit "The Big R".
