🔥 Campfire restrictions lifted at Voyageurs National Park! 🔥

As of Monday, August 24, Voyageurs National Park has lifted parkwide campfire restrictions due to cooler weather and a lower risk of wildfire. Visitors may once again enjoy recreational campfires in designated metal fire rings.

🌲 Please continue to use caution: Fall is typically a dry season in Minnesota, and drought conditions remain across much of the state. Never leave a campfire unattended. To put one out, drown it thoroughly with water, stir the ashes and coals, and make sure everything is cold to the touch.

Thank you to everyone who supported and cooperated with park staff during the recent period of extreme fire danger.
