Hello everyone,
Yes, I am posting on my personal page. Why? Because that's where so many of the people we know, and love are!
POV: road construction sucks.
Even stronger POV: road construction that impacts local small businesses sucks even more.
Indigo Motors is a small used car dealership owned by my solopreneur husband, John Evans. John opened his own business after deciding he had finally had enough of working for others. More specifically, having to follow the moral and ethical compass of others. “Or lack thereof,” as I would put it.
We managed to pick a phenomenal time to sign a lease and open doors: two weeks before COVID shut down the world and most everything in it. Through grace and hard work, we were able to stay open and keep Indigo Motors alive during this difficult-for-all time in history. I would really like to be able to say the same thing now.
Indigo is located on Highway 10, right next door to the tech college. The road construction on 10 has had a lot of negative impact on a lot of businesses. And I see lots of posters, FB outreach, and even news media coverage of this. But Indigo, being a one-man show? Not so much. So today I am choosing to do my own outreach.
Frankly, we need your help.
The construction has brought a drastic change to how people can get to the dealership, and the only people getting there are those who have been before. Frequent comments telling us that they couldn’t get there are frustrating. Even more alarming though is that, without customers, the business is being hit even harder than during COVID.
If you are looking to buy a car, know someone that is looking to buy a car, or even if you just want to help a friend or Ramsey area local stay in business, please come visit Indigo Motors. Please share this post.

We sell what you see. We also have a small but dedicated following of people who come in with requests for a specific make, model, and year of vehicle. We’re good at sourcing and getting you into those, too.
Thanks to those who have read to the end of this novella-length post. And thank you in advance for your support!
