We are a performance engine machine shop. We are located in the same original location in downtown Raleigh, NC. Our Specialty Services: High Performance Machine Shop, Engine Rebuilding, Blueprint Engines, Engine Balancing, Cylinder Head Repair, Resurfacing. We do not work on Foreign Engines. We only work on American Engines (Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler and Pontiac Engines).

This picture was taken over 60 years ago. When J.L. Boyette started Boyette’s Machine Shop the Federal Mogul warehouse was beside him. Federal Mogul did not sell directly to customers because they were a warehouse. They would send the customers that came in next door to Boyette’s Machine shop to make their purchase. Boyette’s Machine Shop was a reseller for Federal Mogul products at that time. J.L. would normally get the service part (installing the bearings) of the business as well. It was a great partnership. Eventually Federal Mogul moved to a bigger warehouse and Boyette’s Machine Shop bought their building and started our own automotive parts business in that building. Those were the good old days!
