Anyone can bolt parts onto a car. The difference is in how everything works together once it’s done. The right setup, the right parts, and proper tuning completely change how a car drives, responds, and puts power down.

If you're thinking about buying a modded car, just know that it's not always as simple as it may look.

We see it all the time. A car shows up looking clean with a list of upgrades, but there’s no paperwork, no real proof of the work, and no way to know how well it was actually put together.

Before you commit, it’s worth slowing down and asking the right questions! Was the work done by a reputable shop? Are there receipts? Has the car ever been on a dyno? And just as important, are you ready for the maintenance that comes with a modified setup?

+90 WHP from a cam upgrade alone 🔥

Nico brought his Camaro in with headers and a cold air intake already installed. We added a Stage 2 camshaft package and dialed in the tuning to bring the whole setup together.

More HP sounds great but without the right supporting mods and tuning, it can lead to poor performance, issues with reliability and much more expensive problems down the road! And we see this ALL the time.

Cars come in with great parts but not real plan behind them. The result? A build that never reaches its full potential. A smart build is all about balance. Doing things in the right order will ALWAYS outperform throwing parts at a car.

Around here, we like to let the numbers tell the real story.

This 5th-gen Camaro SS came in and left with a great improvement after dialing in the setup on the dyno. With the right combination of supporting mods and custom tuning, we picked up roughly +75 WHP and +60 WTQ.

This is what proper tuning is about. Not just chasing numbers, but making sure the car runs stronger, smoother, and exactly how it should.
