PUBLIC NOTICE: RECYCLING CENTER CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Effective immediately, the City of Raeford Public Works Recycling Center, located at 701 S. Main Street, will be closed until further notice.

Public Works has experienced ongoing issues with improper disposal at the recycling center, including regular household trash, pet waste, and the mixing of non-recyclable materials with recyclable items in the provided dumpsters.

These actions prevent the proper use of the recycling facility and interfere with our efforts to provide this service to the community.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate the public’s understanding and cooperation. Additional information regarding the reopening of the recycling center will be provided when available.
