Our family lost another great person. Bubba, you were definitely family. I know we spoke several occasions of how thankful I was for all your help not only with the shop but with Darren, but you were always so humble in taking my thanks and appreciation. I will miss you terribly.

Wanted to make everyone aware of our new hours. We will be closed Sunday and Monday. Open for business Tuesday thru Saturday 8:30am to 5pm. These new hours go into effect Sunday March 27, 2022.

We have run into a snag so I will update all interested. The church will not be available as originally thought due to scheduling. As soon as I hear I will contact you all.

We are looking to have a celebration of life after the funeral for Darren. Trying to get an idea if all who would like to attend. It’ll be at 5 pm Saturday March 19th at the Church of Latter Day Saints 2950 Shepherdsville Rd, Elizabethtown, Ky. Please respond if you would like to attend, all are welcome. Thank you all for your heartfelt condolences as myself and our family progress through this difficult time. We love you all.

Blue Moon will be closed March 18, 19, and 20. Out of respect and admiration for Darren, and to allow our staff to attend his funeral and celebration of life. We will reopen Monday March 21.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to tell everyone that Darren has passed. Our world will never be the same. He was always focused on taking care of everyone around him including his customers. Attached are the arrangements for his services. Feel free to come as you are. He would have wanted things that way, never pretending to be what he was not. Blue Moon will continue to care for you as we always have because it’s the way he would have wanted it.
