Another STELLAR show on a humid Sunday evening!
Another great crowd on hand last night, and the Raceway Charity of Texoma treated many of you to some cool prizes again too! Thank you Steve for surprising us with more giveaways to help keep the sport of dirt track racing alive! His Modified was also in the pits again with a local driver behind the wheel.
Our visiting 305 Sprints brought the heat with 17 cars in the pits and our winner collected his very FIRST Sprint Car checkered flag after 37 years of racing in movie-like fashion by taking a tumble in turns 1&2 after the checkers waved. Paul was just too excited to get out of the car and celebrate! Thank you again to CNA Home Services LLC for helping bring the 305s to the Broadway Bullring, we will see the 305s again on August 9th for Back to School Night!
Our IMCA Late Models have been putting on a whale of a show this year, if you haven’t been out to see one yet you’re missing out! Our plan is to reschedule the $1000+ to win race in a few more weeks to let drivers plan ahead a little more. More information will be released soon.
The Vintage cars are always a really cool blast from the past and really showcase how race cars have changed through the years. A solid car count was on hand with more than half of them making a 3+ hour trek to come race with us and we can’t thank them enough! We look forward to our next Vintage race on August 30th when the Mississippi Valley Vintage Race Car Association Sprints join us.
