With the dedicated diehard drag racing fan base that’s out there, we know most (if not all) of you are familiar with Drag Illustrated’s 30 under 30! It’s amazing to see all of the rising young talent in this sport, and that alone deserves to be celebrated! We’re thankful to have one of our own that we feel is incredibly deserving of being recognized right alongside those very people…

Austin plays a central role in every major decision our Top Fuel team makes. His technical expertise, leadership, and relentless work ethic elevate our entire program, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have him onboard! He is exactly the kind of rising talent Drag Illustrated’s 30 Under 30 was created to honor, so of course, we’ve nominated him! Regardless of the outcome there, we thought we’d recognize him here while also extending a huge “Thank You” for all he’s done! Let’s show him some love!

“Just got my paperwork in the mail and it’s incredible, still doesn’t feel real, Ronna & I have our own T/F team and I am a licensed driver !" We would love to be in Martin Michigan but didn’t want to rush things… Have you seen the price of diesel ? So, we are holding off and aiming to be Dallas in a month so we can stock the shelves and fix some things on the Right Trailers, BPK car after Indy . Super happy with the 4.06@296 and know we have a car that can run, who knows, a little tweak here and there by Austin and we can be in the middle of it all ! Actually got a new number.... 61 👊 The dream will continue ! Thanks to all who subscribe and feel free to share !

This past Tuesday, I officially became a licensed NHRA Top Fuel driver… in my 70's ! We ran 296mph ! Some of us slow down as we get older, but I decided to strap into a 12,000‑horsepower rocket and speed up instead!

Dreams don’t come with expiration dates, and I’m living proof. Next weekend, I’m planning on heading to Martin, Michigan for my maiden NHRA Top Fuel voyage (pending a few small details), and I couldn’t be more fired up! We have a great team in place. The car is ready. I’m ready. The only thing missing now is the group of partners who want to ride with us on this wild journey. We’re incredibly thankful to have Right Trailers as they’ve been with us from the very beginning, and Joe from BPK as well. It’s time to add some more great partners to this team and build an amazing story together!

Returned home to Washington State last night at midnight from the 10 days surrounding Indy. I want to make a special Shout Out to Ronna ! She has been an incredible partner with this Top Fuel Dream of mine. She dug in for the week and endured all things related to racing. Cooked some amazing meals for us all and inspired us along the way.
I love you Ronna and thank you !

Our team didn’t make the show, but we did make some runs and get some great data! Today was spent cheering on some of our favorites and just enjoying the event overall as we prepare to work on getting Bernie licensed tomorrow! Our son, Brad, made it to semi-finals in Stock eliminator and was honored as one of the top 50 sportsman racers. We couldn’t be more proud of him!

Thanks to Ronna for seeing this dream alive, Austin for leading our team, Jeff the clutch guy, Brandon on the bottom end, Joe attacking cylinder heads and new guy Allan! Things will definitely get quicker! We’re thankful to have so many people out there following and support us on this journey!

We know Jake Opatrny is taking on US Nationals in the Top Fuel race car this weekend, but we’ll still be out in support of him all weekend long!
