The 2026 GNYADA New York Auto Tech Competition brought together the next generation of automotive technicians for a full day of hands-on, real-world challenges at the Center for Automotive Education & Training.

Students rotated through 12 workstations designed to reflect today’s dealership environment, from electrical diagnostics and video MPIs to HVAC systems, CAN bus networks, hybrid safety, and precision measurement. Each station tested not just technical skill, but accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism under pressure.

More than cars—it’s about community.

At this year’s Auto Show, GNYADA donated two vehicles—valued at over $100,000—to Citymeals on Wheels, supporting their mission to deliver meals and care to older New Yorkers.

Joined by renowned chef Daniel Boulud, this moment highlights the power of coming together to make a real difference. Through the GNYADA Social and Auto Show Social, we’re proud to give back to the communities we serve.

“Automobile dealers are the pillars of their local communities when it comes to supporting charities, and our goal is to combine their local community giving with the power and backing of the car companies they represent to expand the impact of their philanthropy,” said Mark Schienberg, President of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association.

Last week, with the support of our dedicated Board Members Chairwoman Eleanor Gulla, Vice Chair Marina Letsios, Mike Naclerio, and Michael Sirignano, and the incredible students from Lincoln Tech, we proudly delivered all the coats collected by our dealers to New York Cares.

Thanks to the generosity of our members, we raised over $18,000 and donated more than 3,500 coats to our fellow New Yorkers in need this winter. This effort is a wonderful example of what we can accomplish when our industry comes together to support our community!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed for making a real and lasting impact. Together, we’re keeping New Yorkers warm this winter and showing the power of collaboration and community spirit. 🧥💙

Rallye Motors demonstrated their commitment to giving back by donating $6,700 to Long Island Cares and supporting local families facing food insecurity. They also collected food at all four of their dealerships, filling a Sprinter van to deliver directly to the food bank.
