A quick message to our customers, friends, and community.
Over the last several months, we've faced a number of challenges both professionally and personally. Like many small businesses, we've dealt with staffing shortages, equipment issues, rising operating costs, and the day to day realities of running an independent repair shop.
We also recognize that some of you have experienced longer wait times than usual. Unanswered phone calls, delayed text messages, missed emails, and scheduling delays are things we've become increasingly aware of and are actively working to improve.
The truth is that customer communication has always been one of our biggest challenges. That's not an excuse. It's simply an area where we know we need to do better. One thing we've learned over the years is that some of the most difficult positions to fill in an automotive repair shop aren't in the shop at all. The people responsible for answering phones, communicating with customers, coordinating schedules, building estimates, ordering parts, and managing workflow play a critical role in the success of the business. Those positions require a unique combination of technical knowledge, organization, communication skills, patience, and the ability to wear many hats throughout the day. Finding and retaining the right people for those roles is often easier said than done.
What has never changed is our commitment to the quality of our repairs and workmanship. We have always believed that when a vehicle leaves our shop, it should be safer, more reliable, and repaired correctly. We take tremendous pride in the work we perform every day and refuse to sacrifice quality for speed.
Recently, we've had to make some difficult decisions regarding how we spend our time. In many cases, that means less time on the phone and more time in the shop actually repairing vehicles and working through a significant backlog. While that may not always be visible from the outside, it is part of our effort to get caught up and continue improving the experience we provide.
We are rebuilding, not retreating. Some improvements may take time, but we're committed to addressing the areas where we know we can do better while continuing to deliver the level of workmanship our customers have come to expect.
Behind every repair order is a real person, a real family, and a small business doing its best to keep moving forward. We know we're not perfect. We know there are areas where we need to improve. But we're still here, we're still working hard every day, and we're committed to continuing to provide the honest, high quality repairs that have built our reputation over the last 10 years.
To everyone who has been patient, understanding, and supportive, thank you. Your trust means everything to us, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve this community.
Thank you for sticking with us.
