Summer's winding down and autumn weather can't be far off. I'll be glad to see the heat and humidity depart.

And this time of year also brings back one of my favorite driving events: the American British Reliability Run (ABRR). Linda and I will be driving the Elan again this year and I'm hoping for good weather and Lots of Reliability from our Lotus. But most of all I'm hoping to raise over $1000 for Shriners Hospital for Children. Please do what you can to help us achieve this goal. It's easy to donate using the secure link on the ABRR website. This year Linda and I are especially proud that our son and grandson will be co-driving their Spitfire in the ABRR. Three generations!
And there are two other Elans entered in this years ABRR too, which must be a record! Three Elans out of 30 cars is a disproportionate number for our marque and I'm pretty proud of all the owners of vintage Lotus cars who continue to drive them!

One new part and one NOS part on our website now. We've got brand new chrome hub caps with the embossed Lotus emblem in stock @ $500.00/set of four (Ref. 26G0002). And we've found a few original NOS hazard rocker switches that were specified for the Federal Elan S4, Elan +2 and Europa. Brand new, never used and the black plastic is in very good condition. $75.00 each (Ref. 36M6336).

Finally pics from the ECLM!

Just returned from the East Coast Lotus Meet (ECLM) in Fairfax VAwhich was hosted by the NoVa Lotus Club. We had a great time participating in the weekend activities, from the Friday evening cocktail reception to the casual concours at Red Beard Racing to laps at Summit Point and touring the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum. Thanks to a lot of hard work by the NoVa Lotus Club volunteers everything went very smoothly! Thank you!
I'll post some pics when I get caught up!
