His wife has been employed by the Federal Way School District for 18 years, and He has raised three daughters, who all live and work in the Puget Sound area. Dave has worked in management positions at Auto Dealerships in the Puget Sound area since 1979, the last being Isuzu Manager and Used Vehicle Manager at Scarff Ford in Auburn for

18 years. He has been recognized as a leader in the national automotive industry over the years. He was elected for 3 years as the Chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association Used Car Dealer 20 Group (the premiere used vehicle dealer think tank helping new car dealers across the country improve their used vehicle operations) , was on the National Advisory Committee for JMsolutions (a major automotive corporation providing inventory management software to the industry), has been a contributor to several national automotive magazines and publications and is a member of the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association. Auto Sales Consultants was originally formed in the 80's to train auto salespeople and place them at work in the Puget Sound area by Dave and a partner. The company was revived in 2009 in Puyallup, WA as a Vehicle Wholesaler and quickly grew to one of the largest volume independent wholesale dealers in the Northwest. In June, 2011 the company moved to Auburn and upgrading their license from wholesale vehicles only, to wholesale and retail and miscellaneous vehicle dealer licenses, to expand into dealing with vehicles, motorcycles, trailers, RV’s, etc. In June of 2021 ASC moved back to Puyallup. Dave is sharing space from a friend at Rod's All Star Auto/ Autos 4 Less at 1632 River Road. This enables ASC to wholesale or consign vehicles to them and you will be able to deal with their caring and competent staff 7 days a week. They can offer financing and other services that ASC cannot without hiring additional help. He is working on slowing down some in an effort to move toward retirement. Dave has an excellent reputation within the automotive industry and has continued this reputation in this new endeavor. One of ASC’s favorite sayings is; “If we can’t help you, we won’t do business with you!”
