🇺🇸❤️ Sometimes fixing cars isn't the most rewarding thing we do.

We want to send another HUGE thank you to Fine Line Automotive Concepts and Collision Center, NAPA AUTO PARTS, Burg'r Bar, and Volunteers of America of Florida/Veterans Village for giving us the opportunity to serve our community in the best way we know how.

Together, we were able to donate a vehicle to an absolutely incredible and deserving veteran. While we're usually busy keeping vehicles on the road, this time we got to help put someone on the road to a new chapter in life, and that's a pretty amazing feeling.

It takes a village to make something like this happen, and we're honored to have partnered with such generous organizations and individuals. Thank you for trusting us to be a small part of something so much bigger than ourselves.

And to the veteran receiving this vehicle: thank you for your service, sacrifice, and commitment to our country. We are proud to support you.

A couple months ago, we launched a vehicle donation program with one simple goal: help put reliable transportation in the hands of a local veteran who needed it.

Today, we were able to hand over the keys to our very first donated vehicle.

This wasn't just a car. It's a way to get to work. To doctor's appointments. To family gatherings. To simply have the freedom that many of us take for granted every day.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this possible - our customers, community partners, sponsors, and supporters who believed in the idea from the beginning. Special shout out to Fine Line Automotive Concepts and Collision Center, Burg'r Bar, and our local NAPA AUTO PARTS for all their support restoring this vehicle. We could not have done it without them.

We're especially grateful to Volunteers of America of Florida / Veterans Village for helping connect us with deserving veterans and making sure this vehicle found the right home and look forward to working with them and their great mission for a long time.

This is only the beginning.

🔧📚 On June 9th, something unusual happened at Walt's Garage...

We put down the wrenches, stepped away from the toolboxes, and voluntarily went back to school. 😳

Don't worry, there wasn't a test. (At least that's what they told us.)

For a few hours, we closed the shop so our technicians could receive continued education and training. Modern vehicles are packed with technology, sensors, modules, computers, and enough electronics to make us miss the days when fixing a car meant "hit it with a wrench and see what happens." 🤣

The truth is, today's vehicles are changing faster than gas prices. Staying educated allows us to diagnose problems more accurately, repair vehicles properly, and keep providing the service you've come to expect from us.

We know closing for a few hours can be inconvenient, and we sincerely appreciate your patience while we sharpened our skills instead of our pencils. ✏️🔧

Thank you for supporting a shop that believes learning never stops. Every class we take helps us take better care of your vehicle, and hopefully keeps us one step ahead of whatever warning light decides to pop on next. 🚗💡
