🏁 THE TRACK IS PAVED! 🏁

A HUGE milestone for High Banks Speedway at Beacon Hill has officially been reached!

The track has officially been paved by Pro Asphalt, and we could not be more excited to see this project becoming a reality.

The pit area has also been paved, giving our racers a solid asphalt surface to work from on race day. This is a huge upgrade for our teams and racers and another exciting step forward for High Banks Speedway. The X is getting addressed as well!

There is still plenty of work ahead, but this is a moment worth celebrating.

And this is just the beginning.

We are working with U.S. Legend Cars International and INEX for the 2027 season! Looking forward to it!

A new track is coming online in 2027, and Legends along with Bandoleros might be invited to race! High Banks Speedway at Beacon Hill in Pueblo, Colorado, is currently getting a facelift and will hold racing action starting in May of 2027. Located a few hours south of Colorado National Speedway, the 18-degree high banked quarter-mile oval was formerly known as Beacon Hill Speedway and I-25 Speedway, and in 2027 will feature multiple divisions of racing. Legends Nation confirmed with the track on Tuesday they are looking to add INEX Racing Series sanctioned Legends and Bandoleros as well. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

🏁 HIGH BANKS SPEEDWAY WELCOMES PHIL EASTLICK AS TECHNICAL DIRECTOR! 🏁

We’re excited to announce Phil Eastlick as the Technical Director for High Banks Speedway at Beacon Hill!

Phil brings more than three decades of hands-on asphalt racing experience to High Banks, and his history with this facility goes all the way back to 1992, when he first started coming to Beacon Hill Speedway.

Over the years, Phil’s passion for racing developed into extensive technical knowledge in asphalt chassis setup, race car preparation, shock building and tuning. He has worked with numerous drivers and teams across several divisions and racetracks, giving him a strong understanding of what it takes to build competitive race cars — and, just as importantly, what it takes to keep competition fair and consistent.

Having someone with Phil’s experience is important. Having someone whose history with Beacon Hill goes back more than 30 years makes this announcement even more special.

We’re building a strong team for 2027, and Phil is another big piece of it.

High Banks Speedway owner Steve Lacy joined Kurt Hansen’s Race Central TV to break down exactly what’s happening at High Banks Speedway at Beacon Hill and officially announce Kurt as our track announcer!

From launching an affordable Crown Vic class to officially becoming NASCAR sanctioned, the goal is to build a track that works for both the fans and the racers. The old surface has been milled down, and we’re pushing hard to finish the repave. Listen to the full update here!
