A custom red metallic was requested by our customer on this latest GT500 build. A full black Nappa leather interior with a contrasting red stitch really finishes this build off perfectly.

The pictures don’t do this color justice, it really does come alive beautifully in the sunlight.

There sure is something special about the 1967 Shelby GT500 in black.

This customer chose Corvette Carbon Flash Black with GT500 rocker stripes in Mercedes Sterling Silver Laurit. Something a little different with no Le Mans stripe option on this build, but still so elegant, don't you think?

Interesting fact: While the twin stripes are famously associated with the 1967 GT500, Shelby American did not apply Le Mans stripes at the factory to 1967 or 1968 Shelby models. Every 1967 Shelby left the factory with vinyl side rocker-panel stripes only. If a car had Le Mans stripes, they were painted on later by dealers or subsequent owners, although this was also rarely done.

Unlike Shelby American back in the 1960’s, at the Hi-Tech Legends factory we paint on the side rocker stripes as well as the center stripe according to each customers paint specification. This allows the customer more flexibility in terms of color choice, rather than having to choose a vinyl decal rocker stripe color and then having to color match the painted center stripe – or vice versa.

The Hi-Tech Legends GT500 is currently on display at Barrett-Jackson in Columbus, Ohio from June 25 to 27, 2026.

If you are attending the event or are in the Columbus area, please visit the Hillbank Motorsports FL. exhibit at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds to view the vehicle and speak directly with a sales representative.

This is where the legend is born.

A peek inside our factory floor where every single GT500 begins its journey, built from the ground up, one meticulous step at a time. You may recognize our Highland Green beauty keeping the rest of the builds company, fresh off the line and ready for her new home.

As you can see, we have plenty more special builds currently making their way through the shop and we could not be more excited about what is coming. Watch this space.

Lamborghini "Cuoio Olympus" Nappa Leather, a modern shade of beige that is warm and refined, sitting beautifully inside one of the most iconic muscle cars ever built.

Our automatic shifter mechanism and bezel have been designed with a classic style front of mind, but integrated under the console with a modern Ford 10-speed transmission option.

Even with our interior, maintaining consistency with our “classic style modern drive” philosophy was a priority.

We think the result speaks for itself.
