Webster Repair was graciously given to and inherited by Jonathan Webster after his late father, Earl, unexpectedly passed at the end of 2020. Earl and Allen had been the familiar faces you’d see down at the shop for more than 30 years.
It was always in Jonathan’s plan to continue on what his Dad had started, despite the disgruntled but humble laughs and head shakes his Dad gave when in conversation about this.
We have successfully been able to continue on with the business thanks to Allen’s utmost loyalty to our family and the shop. Without him, we would’ve had to close the doors long ago. Through his own health challenges, he could’ve easily called it quits on us, but didn’t and came back to carry on his legacy. Allen has a lifetime of knowledge and experience on just about any machine: big and small. We are so grateful for his skillset and willingness to stick around for the shop, our community, and truthfully his own mental and physical well-being. We love you, Allen!
Jonathan has a full time job outside of the shop that keeps the food on the table for his large family. With that said, he is also incredibly mechanically inclined and has nearly 20 years of experience under his hat. For some perspective, he is technical support in his full time gig. Similar to his father (and Allen,) he’s smart enough to know the nuances and stubborn enough to not let the machine win. Though we are pressed for time almost all of the time with our young family, given the opportunity, he’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
As for the storyteller, that would be me, Jonathan’s wife, Mikaela. When Jonathan accepted the responsibility of the shop, I did, too. I (mostly) happily take care of the administrative side of things. I do my best to make sure things run smoothly. More importantly, I ensure Allen and the bills get paid. I do also take care of our presence here on social media, clearly.
On that note, we are a very small business and without the support of our very loyal customers we wouldn’t be operating today. We are so thankful for each and every one of you who carefully choose the mechanic you bring your car or truck to. I can promise you that neither Allen or Jonathan will ever send a vehicle back to you that they wouldn’t feel safe or comfortable driving themselves or putting their loved ones in. They do their work right and with great pride.
Please know how much we value your business! We aren’t the prettiest shop in town, but we do honest work. With your continued support, we hope to do more in the future.
❇️On top of mechanics, we do order tires upon request and offer installation.
🔹Jonathan will gladly work on dirt bikes and motorcycles as well. He worked at the Harley dealership in Liberal many moons ago but still has a passion (and know how) for bikes.
