It starts with an idea and then the actual worth with templets, often with cardboard. The old coupe roof panel was reused for the side cover panels.
Like the 69 had a similar size of package tray. Here covered with ½ inch plywood. Parts were prepped and covered with automotive vinyl a tad thicker than the headliner. The seat divider made of 1/2in plywood was also covered vinyl.
Not for nothing the fastback is called a 2+2, I would call a 2 + 2halfs. Anyhow I think it came out nice and if you look at the cost it is a very attractive solution.
