“Everything was fine… until the trailer brakes locked up at highway speed.”

That’s the kind of problem that can turn dangerous fast.

Customer experienced the trailer brakes locking up while driving. After inspection, we found damaged trailer air lines between the tractor and trailer. The lines had been rubbing and hanging improperly, causing air system issues that affected trailer brake operation.

In the second photo, you can see the repaired and properly secured lines routed to prevent further damage and restore safe operation.

What We Found:

* Damaged trailer air lines
* Chafing from improper routing
* Loose unsupported lines
* Air leak causing brake system problems

Repair Performed:

* Diagnosed trailer air system issue
* Repaired damaged air lines
* Properly secured and rerouted lines
* Tested trailer brake operation

Something as simple as a loose airline can quickly become a serious safety issue on the road. Regular inspections of airlines and connections can help prevent costly downtime, tire damage, and dangerous situations.

Don’t forget about your fuel filters this time of year ❄️ As temps drop, diesel fuel can gel and moisture can build up in your system, which puts extra stress on clogged or neglected filters—often leading to hard starts, loss of power, or a no-start at the worst possible time. A fresh fuel filter is cheap insurance to keep your truck running strong all winter long. If you’re not sure when yours was last changed, now’s the time to take care of it before the cold really sets in 💪🚛
