Saturday 5/30 Race Recap

It was a very cold and windy day but we stuck it out. We are making moves in the right direction. The car was the fastest it has been yet. Due to either the low car count or the weather we did not run qualifying heats for our division. We started 3rd in the feature and finished 4th however after tech we ended up with a 3rd place finish. We cant thank the crew and family enough for braving the cold to come support Greg. It never goes unnoticed. And of course none of this would be possible without Town Hill Auto-New London

To everyone else who has contributed to our team this year in all shapes and forms, we appreciate you all so much!

We will continue to work on finding more speed and better set-up/handling so we can grab our first win on the season!

Saturday 5/16 recap

Overall the car was pretty good. Had a little push all day but it did get a little better in the feature. Greg won the heat race and started pole for the feature. We ended the night on the podium with a 3rd place finish. We can not thank Town Hill Auto-New London enough for everything they have done for the team this year. None of this would be possible without their support and we are beyond grateful to have them leading this team to what we hope to be a great season. I also want to thank Shelby Supply Company for their continued support, it really means a lot to have people who want to help you succeed.

Thank you to the crew who put in many hours and long nights in the shop working to get this thing going each week. You all know who you are and we really appreciate everything you do! Also a special thanks to Renshaw pluming heating and cooling, Larry’s auto, Russ Holly, Spafco race chassis’s and Sabby’s Auto.

We have some homework to do but we will be back at it in 2 weeks, see you then!

The 2026 season has officially kicked off. We started 2nd in the feature but unfortunately the power steering line blew off a few laps in. Greg was able to save the car from the wall and luckily there is minimal damage. The car looked great! We can’t thank Town Hill Auto-New London enough for everything! None of this would be possible without you. I’d also like to thank Shelby Supply Company and everyone else who has helped us get here and get this car going!

We have some homework to do but we will be back and ready for race day next week!

2025 Racing Season Recap:
Where do I even start. This year was not our best but could have been a lot worse. We came out with a beautiful car, winning best appearing. We added an amazing sponsor to our team and I couldn’t be more thankful.

I was not able to take home a win this season but we still finished 3rd in points. I/we just had no luck this year. We dealt with some minor motor and electrical issues. I was wrecked in a heat race leaving my car completely bent and me with a concussion. I thought for sure either my season was over or we had A LOT of work ahead of us. Somehow, with a lot of help from my crew and others, we were able to get the car back together enough to make it out for the feature. Somehow I was able to finish that race in the top 5, after starting scratch.

Now onto the finale…the car was FAST, especially considering it is still bent. Unfortunately with 17 laps to go I lost a right rear and had to pit. After restarting in the back I was able to get through the pack and take home a 3rd place finish. Can’t complain with that!

I can’t thank my crew enough for all the time they have sacrificed helping me with the car. Dad, Grandpa, Mom, Russ, Dean, Don, Phil, Uncle Steve, Gregory, Everlee and anyone else who lended a hand when needed. I appreciate you all so much.

Lastly, my wife Emma. She has been my rock. Even while being in nursing school, working at the hospital, and taking care of the kids, she has still managed to find time to help me when I needed it. She always made sure anyone who was here had dinner. She didn’t complain too much about my long nights in the garage..I think I only gave her a few mental breakdowns but I’m so thankful she is understanding about it all.

Again, thank you to everyone who supported me this year. I can’t wait to see what next season holds for us!

Last night was not a great one but we made the best of it. I was taken out in the heat race, bringing the ambulance out and wrecking the car. I am okay, just got my bell rung a little too hard. The team was able to get my car somewhat back together enough for me to attempt the feature. After a few courtesy laps we started last in the feature and somehow drove that bent car to finish P5.
First and foremost, I want to thank my dad, Don, Russ and Phil for helping me get back out there. Thank you to everyone else who checked in and offered to help.

7/30 Race Recap

Right out of the trailor I found out the plug was stripped on the oil pan. Ended up having to go get it welded. We went out for the first practice and didnt even make it around once before the car just died. I got pushed in and we couldnt find anything wrong so i went out with the second group and the motor was breaking up. We were clearly having ignition problems so we changed out the module on the distributer. Still breaking up. The first one had a bad module and the second one that I built had a defective module right from the store. We changed the carburetor and then went back to the original carburetor, we changed the spark plugs. All in all we went through 3 distributers before the problem was fixed. All of this resulted in us getting no practice. We finished everything while the 1st SX heat was out on the track. Luckily we made it out for our heat starting 4th and winning. I started 9th in the feature and was up to 3rd when an incident happened. When the checkered flag came out we finished 6th. After post race inspections we ended up 4th. We have a lot of work to do but thankfully we have some time. And thankfully I have some amazing sponsers and crew members that will make that all possible.
