​This is officially going to be the biggest, baddest Halloween Parade Skidway Lake has ever seen! 🎃🚜

PARADE?

Bring out your mud trucks, race cars, show cars, tractors, mowers, go-karts, mini bikes, side-by-sides, ATVs ect.

​Lineup: 1:00 PM at Rosati's Parking Lot

​Judging & Trophies: 2:00 PM

​Parade Starts: 3:00 PM (Headed to St. Stephen's Church)

​Registration: Pick up and drop off forms at Mills Township Hall

​Get your rides ready and let’s show everyone how Skidway throws a parade!

​We are a week away from the Skidway Lake Scarecrow Making Competition on Saturday, October 17th at 1:00 PM at the Chamber of Commerce building. It’s FREE for all ages with free c***r, donuts, and trophies for the best scarecrows!

🎃 Shoutout to Rolling Meadows Berry Farm! 🎃

​A massive shoutout and thank you to the folks over at Rolling Meadows Berry Farm!

​We went out today to grab some pumpkins to decorate the route for our upcoming Skidway Lake Halloween Parade, and when the farmer came out and heard what we were doing, he went above and beyond. Not only did he help us load up, but he kept loading pumpkins into the truck until it couldn't hold anymore at no extra cost!
​If you're looking for some of the best jack-o'-lantern pumpkins around, you need to check them out. They have incredible pumpkins priced at just $1, $2, and $3!

​📍 Location: Boughner Lake Rd., just south of M-55.

​Support local, grab some great pumpkins, and tell them thank you from the parade crew! 👻🎃

📣 COMMUNITY SCARECROW SUPPLY DRIVE!

​Get ready for our upcoming Scarecrow Making Competition on Saturday, October 17th! We are setting up a community "Supply Bar" so everyone can build their own creation, and we need your donations of clean, used items to stock the tables!

​If you are cleaning out closets, garages, or basements, please drop off any of the following items:

​👢 Footwear: Old work boots, hiking boots, or mismatched shoes to anchor our scarecrows.

​🧤 Handwear: Old leather, canvas, or garden work gloves.

​🛏 Linens & Sacks: Clean old pillowcases, burlap sacks, or canvas bags (for making heads).

​🧢 Hats & Accessories: Worn-out straw hats, baseball caps, bandanas, and scarves.

​🧶 Craft Extras: Partial skeins of yarn, leftover felt or fabric scraps, and old mop heads (great for hair!).

​🛍 Packing Helpers: Stacks of plastic grocery bags or newspaper (used to help lightweight stuffing inside boots and gloves).

​Drop-off details: contact Glenn Stellwag or Kendra Lynn and we'll meet for local pickup or work out whatever arrangements necessary.

🎃 989 Raceway Halloween Ride at Glenn’s House! 👻

​Get ready for some spooky off-road fun! We’re hosting our free, family-friendly Halloween Ride and you're invited to come tear it up with us.

​🗓️ Date: October 24th
⏰ Time: 1:00 PM
📍 Location: 1863 Tammy Drive, Prescott, MI 48755

​What to bring:
​Your mowers, go-karts, mini bikes, or whatever custom small engine creation you've got running!

​Costumes for both people and your rigs (encouraged, but not required!).

Please remember that this is a residential area, so we have to respect the road and our neighbors. Tire spinning on the road will NOT be tolerated!🚨

Let's keep it safe, fun, and respectful so we can keep the good times rolling.

🇺🇸🏁 989 RACEWAY AT THE SKIDWAY LAKE 1ST ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY FESTIVAL! 🏁🇺🇸

We're excited to announce that 989 Raceway will be participating in the Skidway Lake 1st Annual 4th of July Festival on Friday, July 3rd, and we'd love for you to join us!

🚜🏁 PARADE DETAILS: 📍 Meet at Rosadi's Grocery Store ⏰ Line-up at 10:30 AM 🚩 Wheels rolling at 11:00 AM

989 Raceway is registered as a group, so if you're riding with us, there is NO NEED to register separately! Bring your mower, side-by-side, ATV, golf cart, mini bike, or whatever fun ride you've got and cruise the parade with us.

The parade route travels from Rosadi's Grocery Store to the Chamber of Commerce/Festival Grounds.

After the parade, everyone is welcome to park rigs on display at our mower and toy show inside the festival grounds for everyone to check out, take pictures with, and learn more about what 989 Raceway is all about!

🎆 And to cap off an incredible day, Skidway Lake will host the BIGGEST fireworks show the community has ever seen as part of America's 250th Anniversary celebration!

🎉 There's something for everyone at the festival: 🐐 Petting Zoo 🎸 Live Bands & Entertainment 🌭 Food Vendors 🛍️ Craft Show & Local Vendors 🎈 Family Activities 🎪 And much more!

Bring the whole family and spend the day celebrating our country, our community, and the great people of Skidway Lake.
