🌧️🚨 TRACK CLOSED ALL WEEK! 🚨🌧️

Unfortunately, Mother Nature just isn’t on our side this week! 😭 Due to all the rain and current track conditions, Mingus Mountain BMX will be CLOSED for Tuesday practice and Thursday racing.

We have also made the decision to remain CLOSED on Sunday, October 18th, due to track conditions and with so many of our riders heading down to Black Mountain BMX Raceway for FALL NATIONALS! 🏁🔥

While we’re bummed we won’t be racing at home this week, there’s still PLENTY of BMX action happening!

🏆 FALL NATIONALS — FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY! 🏆

We HIGHLY encourage our Mingus Mountain BMX families to head down to Black Mountain! Whether you’re racing yourself or just coming to cheer on our riders, we’d LOVE to see our BMX family showing up and supporting one another! 💙

For some of our riders, this is their first Nationals experience, and having their hometown BMX family cheering them on makes it that much more special! 🥹🏁

📸 Check out the photos attached for all the Fall Nationals details!

To everyone racing this weekend, GOOD LUCK! Race hard, have fun, and represent Mingus Mountain proudly! We’re cheering for every single one of you! 💪🔥

Thank you all for your patience and understanding while we wait for the track to dry out and get back into safe riding condition.

Let’s go, Mingus Mountain BMX! 💙🏁🚲

🚨 NO SUNDAY RACING TODAY! 🚨

We’re crossing our fingers that Mother Nature gives us a break this week! 🤞☀️ After all this rain, our track is going to need some TLC before we can get back to riding!

We’re hoping the weather cooperates AND that we can get enough volunteers out to help get the track back into safe, race-ready condition! 💪💙

🚲 TUESDAY — OPEN PRACTICE
⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM
💲 $5 per rider

🏁 THURSDAY — RACE NIGHT
⏰ Practice & Registration: 6:00–7:00 PM

⚠️ ALL PRACTICES AND RACES ARE WEATHER AND TRACK CONDITION PERMITTING!

We will do everything we can to get the track ready, but we NEED our BMX family’s help! If you have some spare time and see us asking for volunteers to help with track work, please consider coming out. Even an hour of your time can make a HUGE difference! 🙌

📲 PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES for track work opportunities, weather updates, and possible cancellations.

It takes a whole community to keep our track running, and we are so thankful for everyone who continues to show up and help! 💙

Fingers crossed for sunshine, helping hands, and a FULL week of BMX! ☀️🚲🏁

📣 VOLUNTEER MEETING TONIGHT! 📣

We’ll be having a quick volunteer meeting between the 2nd and 3rd motos while we enjoy our hot dogs! 🌭

If you’ve been wanting to get more involved at the track, PLEASE join us! We’ll be discussing corner marshaling, track spraying and sweeping, w**d eating, cleanup, BBQ duties, and all the other little things that make race nights possible.

You don’t need experience, just a willingness to help! 🙌

Our track runs on volunteers, and we want everyone to have the opportunity to pitch in while still getting to enjoy watching their own kiddos race. The more families we have involved, the easier it is on everyone! 💙

Come race, grab a hot dog, and help us keep Mingus Mountain BMX going strong! 🏁🚲
