Our Story
Thomas (known as TJ) Kiley started TnT Towing & Transport with a dream, one wrecker truck (which we still have), and himself as the one and only tow truck operator in 2006 at the young age of 21 years old. At the time, he was working as a wild land firefighter for the Prescott Fire Department, which he loved. As the towing business began to grow and become busier, leaving him on the road for sometimes more than 72 hours at a time, he had to resign as a firefighter and devote himself completely to running and growing his business.
Soon one truck turned into three and one operator turned into two and they were on a roll! One small contract (Agero Motor Club - also known as the back end of roadside assistance for State Farm Insurance, Liberty Mutual, Farmer’s insurance, and Progressive) turned into contracts with bigger companies such as Geico, Allstate, multiple police departments i.e. Arizona State Troopers, YCSO, Prescott Police Department, Chino Valley PD and the Camp Verde Marshal.
After years of growing the business, adding more trucks and hiring more operators, TJ had one contract in the front of his mind that he knew he wanted and was not going to stop going after it until he got it. In April of 2014, TJ managed to lock in the Preferred Provider contract with AAA of Arizona, the biggest motor club in the United States. Having this contract in itself has more than doubled the revenue that TnT pulls in every year.
Going on four years of staying extremely busy helping AAA customers, and 12 years of providing #1 customer service to all other motor clubs and cash-pay customers, TnT is determined to continue to expand their area of coverage and the services they provide. TnT Towing now has 6 drivers and a fleet of 9 tow trucks including a service truck, 6 flatbeds, 1 wrecker truck and 1 medium-duty tow truck. They service all of the quad-city area and Mayer. TnT also services all of the I-17 as far South as Anthem all the way North to Sedona and everything in between.
