We're taking a moment to recognize one of our hardworking interns, Seth Boggs, for being selected as a Student Ambassador for the Virginia Tech College of Civil and Environmental Engineering for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Seth has been with T&L since 2022, working with our Civil Engineering Department in our Wise office. We are incredibly fortunate to have him on our team and are thrilled to see Virginia Tech recognize his strong work ethic and natural talent.

As a Student Ambassador, Seth will assist with recruitment events, represent the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Alumni Board meetings, and play a vital role in promoting the department at Virginia Tech.

Thank you to our loyal customers, the ones who've stuck with our small town business for years. When they walk in, they're sometimes greeted from afar by our feline overlord, Moog. She's been ruling our shop for about 18 years, and we're still unsure of her actual age. If she likes you, you'll know - and if she doesn't, you'll definitely know that too. Don't expect her to fawn all over you; she's the boss, after all. You might spot her lounging anywhere in the store. Her favorite pastime? Chilling in her boxes. Just don't expect Ryan the UPS guy to pick up her box - not on your life, lol.

A few of our little customers “family “ all grown up and enjoying the Prom.
There has been many times they stopped by to get a hug from Daddy Don and Kevin.
Having candy on hand might have been another reason. Fond memories of them wanting to be picked up to pet the deer. ♥️
