AUDI Q7 3.0T DEEP SERVICE & CARBON CLEANING 🔧
This Audi came into RSP Automotive Center for a pretty extensive service. Once everything was opened up, you can see exactly why proper maintenance on these direct-injection engines matters.
We’re performing:
* Oil separator replacement
* Fuel injector cleaning
* Intake manifold cleaning
* Supercharger cleaning
* Intake valve carbon cleaning
* Thermostat replacement
* Water pump replacement
On direct-injection engines, fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber instead of washing over the back of the intake valves. Over time, oil vapors and deposits can build up heavily on the valves and intake passages, restricting airflow and affecting overall engine performance.
The photos show the amount of carbon buildup we found before cleaning, along with the results afterward. We’re also cleaning the intake and supercharger while everything is apart and replacing the oil separator, thermostat, and water pump to address several common service items at the same time.
The goal is simple: restore proper airflow, correct existing issues, and prevent the customer from paying for the same labor twice later.
