Meet Todd Yanagihara, Leasing Manager at TEC Equipment – Kent.

Todd joined TEC through the International Leasing acquisition in 2022. Since then, he’s helped bring together the strengths of both operations—embracing TEC Leasing’s focus on preventative maintenance and uptime while continuing to support the repair needs of fleets throughout the Kent market.

Todd leads by example, creating a culture where employees are heard, supported, and equipped to succeed. That hands-on leadership has helped Kent build a team with some of the most tenured technicians you’ll find in the industry.

And when we say Todd is dedicated, there’s a story to prove it.

Shortly after midnight one night, someone tried to drive a U-Haul through a roll-up door at the Kent shop to steal tooling. There was just one problem with their plan: Todd was still at work! He scared them off, called the police, and nothing was stolen.

While that’s an extreme example, it speaks to the commitment Todd brings to his role every day.

For Todd, it comes back to taking care of his people and his customers. Whether it’s finding a way to keep a demanding fleet running, giving his technicians what they need to succeed, or simply being there when someone needs him, Todd represents what it means to be Your Best Business Partner.
