1939 Ford Deluxe speedometer and tell-tale temperature gauge after rebuild. This Delco manufactured 100mph speedometer required a lot of love including an nos trip reset stem and a full rebuild on the total and quick reset trip odometer assemblies which both perform flawlessly now. The King-Seeley manufactured tell-tale temperature gauge was extensively cleaned before being rebuilt to a custom length with new components, charged using our in-house made UV stable fluid and then fully calibrated back to spec.

Stewart Warner 5k 2:1 mechanical tachometer from a 1964 Century boat which submerged (after and before photos). This speed unit speedometer movement (aka not designed to be disassembled for service, only replaced in its entirety) was fully torn down, cleaned, repaired, extensively de-rusted, assembled and calibrated as original. No substantive cosmetic improvements were made beyond a basic cleaning so that all of the gauges would continue to look like a matched set. Boat gauges lead tough lives in the best of situations and submersion is not something they are designed to handle at all.

1947 Dodge 1 ton truck (wd20) speedometer, temperature and oil pressure gauges after and before. These Auto-Lite manufactured gauges were each fully cleaned, serviced and calibrated with the temperature gauge being fully rebuilt with new capillary etc. This speedo suffered the inevitable needle separation which occurs due to the original plastic shrinking...we have needles for these that are NOS in the box and each and every one of them has separated due to shrinkage or cracking, the only solution is to replace the original plastic with new as we did here.

Waltham manufactured Tesla "air-drive" speedometer, 90 degree adapter and cable assembly for a 1925 Springfield-built Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. These speedometers are referred to as "air-drive" units because incredibly tight tolerances and air friction created inside the unit are what moves the speed indicator (not magnets or gears). The speedometer was extensively repaired during the rebuild process in order to restore full functionality of the speed indication along with the total and trip odometer assemblies along with the reset function. Everything pictured was fully disassembled and serviced. No artwork was refinished, just improved upon. Fresh plating. These air-drive units are incredibly labor intensive to restore because the pot metal internal components are always warped/broken/swollen and you must get everything back into perfect alignment before you can begin calibration and pot metal is quite unforgiving.

1952 Dodge B3B "Pilot House" truck gauges manufactured by Auto-Lite (before and after). This is essentially a concours restoration with all dial artwork refinished as original except for the temperature gauge whose scale we swapped to another Auto-Lite option of 'cold/hot' to accommodate operating in a newer Cummins engine temperature range. All gauges were fully serviced and calibrated. Fresh plating throughout including the radio grill assembly. Amp gauge strengthened for reliably safe usage. OEM fuel gauge movement setup for 12v- operation.

And here is a MotoMeter manufactured 2 3/8 back mount fuel gauge and custom sending unit. The sending unit is built to fit an original 1932 Ford passenger fuel tank (which came originally with a hydrostatic unit). The sending unit squeezes as much as you can possibly fit in that small 6 bolt fl**ge incorporating the fuel pickup line, vent and rheostat assembly running in the long obsolete ohm range required to operate that Auburn gauge correctly. The gauge was fully serviced and calibrated but all of the "patina" was left as requested. Still operating 6v+.

1932 Ford Truck hydrostatic fuel gauge + sending unit after and before photos. Lots of repairs, improvements and rust remediation performed. New airline, fittings, correct fluid and gasket supplied. This application is unique in that the hydrostatic truck sending unit installs from the underside of the tank as opposed to the topside. Gauge fully cleaned and setup for many more years of operation. The gauge dial is made of an early plastic that is quite fragile and prone to cracking (this unit required a small repair).

1941 Indian 4 Cylinder amp gauges manufactured by Hoyt (after and partial before restoration). The customer supplied an assortment of core gauges and various restoration products for us to use in creating him 2 authentic original gauge samples. These full flow amp gauges were a bit of a chore to get setup because the tolerances are so tight inside of the cases and everything had been apart before which is never helpful. Ultimately we got him what he wanted and everything works as it should.

British AC manufactured fuel sending unit for a 1953 Sunbeam Talbot after and before. Many repairs required to get this functioning again. Just for kicks British AC uses what looks like a standard US 5 bolt mount pattern fl**ge but it is not, it is a larger diameter
