As prepared as I try to be, last week I was humbled and a bit embarrassed. Really nice folks drove up about 45 minutes away from their camping spot to drive a couple of cars I have.
Both are outstanding cars, but one had a last-minute repair that hadn't been done with the air conditioning compressor, and the other one was low on gas, really low on gas. Like really low on gas, and I knew it!!!!!
The car started up, made it about a block away, and they ran out of gas. I felt like such a dope!!! And I'm sure that was not a good feeling they had either!!
Just embarrassing for everyone.
That is completely my fault for not getting it handled, and I won't let that happen again!!!

They didn't purchase a car, but I wish them well. It was a reminder to not put the urgent before the important.

Once more!
The SELLER makes buying a used car an easy, exciting event, or a nightmarishly long, frustrating grind.

Tim called me and asked if he could come by and look at this Miata.
I said I'd only be around an hour or so and he said he'd be here in 20 minutes.

Here's how it went.
Tim and his son showed up in time.
Looked at the Miata
Started it
Asked for a test drive
10 minutes later came back
Said they loved it.
Made an offer, but a little too low.
Said they'd think it over.
5 minutes later they came back and said they had to have it.
Paperwork took 15 minutes
Came back with a cashier's check
Drove home smiling!!!!

Good, clean cars make it easy to buy.

Really nice folks came all the way from Lacey Washington to look at this Ford F-350 we had listed. That's a long way to go, especially not knowing for sure if the seller has represented the vehicle accurately and honestly.
Here's how this deal went:
They called to see if the truck was here
They arrived on time.
We greeted each other
They looked at the truck
Wanted to drive the truck
Came back and said they wanted it.
They bought it for advertised price
Wrote a check.
Paperwork took 15 minutes
Drove away with exactly what they wanted.

Buying a used car should not be a hard task. It should be easy. The SELLER is responsible for making that happen.

We prepare our cars with this easy transaction in mind.
Clean, reconditioned, looking the best they can, and mechanically covered front to back. No excuses.

Although this was finalized yesterday, I'd still like to thank Doug and Stacy Fabel as a repeat customer. This was their second Honda they purchased from us, and I so appreciate this sweet family! Their trust in me is not unnoticed. I am honored.
