Lots of our customers love putting our scheel 101 bucket seats in vintage race cars and classic 911s, but Paul thought they’d be a perfect fit in his 1962 Volkswagen Beetle and we couldn’t agree more.

Wrapped in our classic corduroy and leatherette, the scheel 101s look right at home in his classic Bug.

If you haven’t seen it yet, head over to our YouTube channel to learn more about the build in Paul’s The Driver’s Seat video.

Switchbacks, elevation, and crowds that showed up for every run. The Maryhill Loops Vintage Hillclimb delivered again this year, and we were proud to be part of it.

Two of the cars made the climb in scheel-mann seats. We like to think they had the most comfortable runs on the Hill. 😉

What stood out most was the comradery. A shared love for vintage race cars, and for this special road in particular, made for a paddock where strangers talked like old friends, and everyone was welcome.

None of it happens without the drivers who ran the Loops, the volunteers who kept the day moving, the EMS and fire crews who kept everyone safe, and everyone who spectated the course from first run to last. This event belongs to the people who show up for it.

To everyone who purchased event merch and donated to the event: thank you. See you next year!

These scheel 101s, wrapped in red & blue Porsche plaid, look right at home in this Group 4
Porsche homage.
Inspired by the legendary Alméras Brothers Group 4 racing era, the build brings together period-
correct style with a few details of its own.
We made a limited run of these plaid scheel 101s, and they’re available on the website now. If
you’ve had your eye on a set, grab them while this run is still available.

The scenery was the easy part.
The trail was not.
Rough road, loose dirt and creek crossings, and nobody was shifting around in their seat. The
pepita scheel 101’s and brown Traveler R’s kept three Werks Gruppe drivers planted and
comfortable, mile after mile.

Two Werks Gruppe Porsches. One wild adventure.
Last week, these two builds left the pavement behind and headed into the rough stuff for Safari Party. Rocky trails, brutal terrain, and plenty of miles put both cars to the test, but the Scheel 101s kept the drivers planted, supported, and comfortable through it all.
