Had a 2022 BRZ in for a Verus Engineering oil pan upgrade that would better suite its autocross lifestyle!

Between the baffling system and the added oil capacity. This Versus pan was an awesome addition to the car.

Good thing this was done when it was at 34k miles, as we found a nice surprise when taking a peak up the oil pickup tube. Got it all cleaned out, Versus pan on, and wrapped up so this BRZ could live another day tearing up a parking lot missing all the cones.

We have a new contender for the newest/lowest mileage car to come in for some goodies! This gorgeous 2025 WRX TS came in at just 793 miles for some go fast mods and a few rally inspired “see better at night” goodies.

With its original bone stock engine bay staring us in the face, giving us a clean slate, we picked out the best of the best to give this thing some faster spooling, more efficient, reliable power mods on pump gas (for now). We started with an IAG Performance AOS for reliability and clean air. The ever so perfect AMS Performance lineup of Intake, TMIC, and Charge Pipe for its inhale efficiency and more power. And a COBB Tuning Catback to allow it to exhale more efficiently and breathe better with its new intake. All meshed together with our Topshelf Performance & Fabrication Protune on a COBB Tuning Accessport.

For its “see better at night mods”, we looked to our friends at Baja Designs for their S2 SAE Fog Lights mounted in the stock fog location using Rally Innovations, USA fog light brackets. We also ran Rally Innovations, USA front light bar which will eventually be paired with Baja Designs Squadron Pro lights when they come in. Fog lights are wired into the factory fog light switch. And the Squadron Pro’s are ran to a factory blank location switch in the dash for some collapsed sun action when the time calls.

This car is an absolute blast, and feels fantastic on the street. Subaru of America, Inc. really knocked it out of the park with the TS interior. The Recaro seats hug you inappropriately giving you that warm fuzzy feeling and the STI themed digital cluster is a pleasant surprise getting the blood pumping when you push that red start button on the dash.

Many don’t realize how important keeping your valves cleaned up on a FA platform is. Adding walnut blasting to your scheduled maintenance list is absolutely a necessity with this platform! If this has not been addressed on your vehicle, you can start to see a lot of issues that end up being misleading. Rough idle, not catching itself, misfires, abnormal fuel consumption, lack of power, etc.

We see a lot of cars come in here with the customer saying they replaced their spark plugs, and their vehicle is still misfiring. When asked if they have ever had their intake valves cleaned, like most, they are clueless that was even a thing.

This customer brought their 2018 WRX in for a bunch of different things. Much needed maintenance, IAG Performance AOS install, PERRIN Performance TMIC install, COBB Tuning SF Intake, Inlet, 3 Port, and BPV Install, and a Topshelf Dyno Tune. This vehicle only had around 80-90k miles on it! Included are pictures of before and after walnut blasting. (Yes they are the same valves)

Let this be your sign to stay on top of maintenance with your vehicle. Including walnut blasting in that list! Our recommended interval for blasting can depend on what you do with your vehicle and the modifications it has. For a more stock vehicle, we recommend every 30-40k miles. Mods like an IAG Performance AOS can definitely help keeping those valves more clean.
