Is your lawn mower tearing your grass instead of cutting it, missing patches, or have an uneven cut? Here’s why blade maintenance matters!
Take a look at these two blades:
Right: A fresh, sharp blade ready for a clean cut.
Left: A worn-out blade with rounded, chipped edges.
When blades get this worn, they rip the grass instead of slicing it. This leaves jagged, brown tips, makes your lawn vulnerable to disease, and forces your engine to work harder.
Quick rule of thumb: Sharpen or replace your blade every 25–30 hours of use, or at least once a season.
If your mower needs a blade swap or a full seasonal tune-up, Fixn Dude has you covered!
