Follow up from May 14th on our engine out major service on 1993 512TR… service is pretty much complete with belts, bearings, and covers back on… intake plenum and valve cover looking pretty much like it came off the assembly line.. Final installment will be when the engine is mated back to the lucky chassis.

Follow up from March 9 on our 1983 Ferrari 308qv engine rebuild… We have been very busy getting all the Scuderia110 members & clients Ferraris ready for the spring… in between services and smaller projects, Il Maestro has managed to find the time to finally finish the engine rebuild… What made this project a bit tricky was that the engine had been dismantled at another shop and attempt had been previously made to repair the valves with unsatisfactory outcome… So Luigi had to utilize his vast knowledge from having rebuilt hundreds of these 308/328 variant engines and achieve the correct valve clearance for proper cam indexing… Moral of the story is “Do it right the first time around”! From Client’s point, “Do your diligence so you get your Ferrari repaired correctly first time around”!! Forza Ferrari!!!

Another engine out service… This time a 1993 512TR with about 26,000 miles which appears to be needing a bit of TLC… Look as our Il Maestro methodically dismantles the engine components to get to the timing belt cover as he discusses evolution of the Testarossa engine to 512TR… Stay tuned for the timing belt service and as the team at Scuderia110 slowly transform this engine into mint condition..
