Bipartisanship ABOUT JUAN DE FUCA RIDERS

Our colors are Blue and White.

The Blue stands for public service, the service of our brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service to our country, and community, as well as the powerful blue waters of our beloved Straight of Juan De Fuca, and Salish Sea. The White stands for sorrow and the loss of life, and the pain endured by the families and friends of our brothers and sister in public service to our c

ountry, as well as the life giving snow, covering our Olympic mountains and the wind swept wave top covering the raging sea of the Straight of Juan De Fuca. The Juan de Fuca Riders are a Patriotic Motorcycle Club that represents the common person, who serves his or her country. We love our motorcycles and we love our public servants. We are a non allied PMC that believes in the MC codes of respect, integrity, privacy and the rules of the road. We put down none, and pick up all. One of our missions in the JDFR is to support families in times of need; at funerals, escorts, weddings and other such events. We believe all public servants whether military or civil, deserve the respect they have earned at the time they are being layed to rest. Another mission of the JDFR is raising funds when possible to support the needs of our community through raffles, fun/poker runs or donations. We never keep monies donated to a cause. We also stand flag lines, memorials and attend bell ringing's when our work schedules permit.

Our group will be meeting at the old Honda Shop at noon, kickstands up promptly at 12:15! Please feel free to join us if you would like to ride with our group!

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Ladies & Gentlemen of The PGR,

Please join me as we pay final Honor, Respect and Appreciation to the many Jefferson County Veterans who have passed away in the last six months.

For some, this may be the last time their name is spoken in public. Each veteran’s name is read with the branch in which he or she served, conflict and awards received if applicable, followed by the ringing of a bell. After all the names are recognized a piper plays Amazing Grace, The Port Townsend American Legion presents a 21-rifle salute followed by a bugler playing taps. The Washington State National Guard folds and presents the American Flag.

Help us ensure each Veteran is given the Honor and Respect they deserve.

This is a flag line only mission.

The Unforgotten Run is a program which honors the memory of military heroes who have no family to stand in their honor. We will be honoring the memory of several deceased veterans who will be put to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery ane have no one else to stand for them. This will be a flag line only mission.

There is no greater good we can do, other than to honor our own and to make sure they are never forgotten. Please come out and join me on the flag line to honor the fallowing heroes.
