Our Communications Division is deeply saddened to announce the sudden and tragic passing of Communications Officer Elizabeth “Liz” Ortega. Liz was the victim of a murder–suicide at her residence in Port St. Lucie this past weekend. She began her Emergency Communications career with the Greenacres Police Department in November of 2001 and has been a dedicated member of PBSO Emergency Communications since the merger in February of 2016. She was a respected and cherished part of our PBSO family, known for her kindness, compassion, and a warm smile that could brighten any room. Her son, Ralph Varela Jr., is a Fire Fighter with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. Please stand with us in supporting our PBSO and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue family during this time of profound loss. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Here’s a unique situation. Customer completely broke his boat trailer, and blew his tires on the highway in multiple places. We were able to provide him with a Used safe fully serviced boat trailer with new wheels and tires that we had in stock. We were able to lift his boat and safely place it on the new trailer. Remove the old trailer and get the customer on his way with a very short period of downtime. Saving him thousands of dollars. And extensive downtime! Another customer. A+ To this team of ours!! 💪🏼👌🏻

Here’s another from the other day. The dump rolled and damaged the chassis. We arrived and uprighted this unit safely and saved the repeat customer a ton of money. Another job well done guys.

Here’s some pictures from an event the other day involving one of our good customers dump trucks that slid off a narrow dirt roadway and became high centered.after arriving in less than 45 minutes We were able to recover the truck without damage and the customer drove away happy. A big thank you to our loyal customers.
