🔧 ANOTHER REPAIR COMPLETED AT LEGACY AUTO REPAIR 🔧

This Toyota FJ Cruiser came into the shop with an engine oil leak that had previously been traced to the engine oil cooler line.

We removed and replaced the leaking engine oil cooler hose assembly, inspected the fittings and sealing surfaces, cleaned the affected area, and checked the engine oil level.

After the repair, we brought the engine up to operating temperature and reinspected the system.

✅ New engine oil cooler hose assembly installed
✅ Oil level checked and topped off as needed
✅ Repair area cleaned
✅ Engine brought to operating temperature
✅ No leaks observed after repair
✅ Vehicle operating normally

1968 AMC AMX 390 V8 🇺🇸🔧

You don’t get to work on one of these every day!

This beautiful 1968 AMC AMX came into Legacy Auto Repair for an oil service and several concerns that needed some attention.

Working on a 58-year-old vehicle is a little different than working on something built yesterday. Sometimes the biggest part of the job is figuring out what has been changed over the decades and finding the right parts to keep these classics on the road.

1966 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE MALIBU 🔧

This classic Malibu came into Legacy Auto Repair for some major upgrades!

We converted the braking system to a complete 4-wheel power disc brake setup, replacing the existing front disc/rear drum configuration with an all-new matched system.

This project included:
• 4-wheel power disc brake conversion
• New brake booster & dual-reservoir master cylinder
• Combination/proportioning valve
• Custom-fabricated NiCopp brake lines
• Steering arm modifications for proper kit fitment
• Rear rotor machining for proper fitment
• Custom-welded rear brake hose mounting tabs
• Longer rear wheel studs for proper thread engagement
• Rear differential service with fresh 80W-90 gear oil
• Front bucket seats relocated approximately 2 inches rearward for improved driver legroom

Classic cars and aftermarket upgrades don’t always bolt together right out of the box. This one required some custom fabrication and modifications to get everything installed correctly.
