There are some messages you never imagine having to write, and this is one of them.
After many years of serving this community, the time has come for me and my family to close this chapter as Bethel Towing, Bethel West, and Town & Country Towing begin new ownership.
Before we do, I want to say thank you.
First, to Dan and Kay Jake. Thank you for taking a dream and turning it into something so much bigger than a towing company. You built a business that earned the trust of this community through honesty, hard work, and treating people the right way. I have always been proud to continue what you started, and I will forever be grateful for the example you set.
To our employees—past and present—you have been the heart of this company. Kristine, Rebecca, Eric, our dispatchers, drivers, mechanics, and every person who has ever worn our name—you gave this business everything you had. You answered the phone in the middle of the night, worked holidays, missed family dinners, braved storms, and showed up when people needed help the most. You didn't just tow vehicles—you helped people. I will never forget your loyalty, dedication, and friendship.
To the Washington State Patrol, local police departments, sheriff's offices, fire departments, first responders, dispatch centers, AAA, our commercial partners, repair facilities, vendors, and every agency and business we've had the privilege of working with over the years, thank you for your trust and partnership. We were proud to stand beside you in serving our community.
And finally, to our customers and this incredible community...
Thank you for every phone call, every wave as our trucks drove by, every recommendation, every kind word, and every opportunity you gave us to earn your trust. Many of you became friends, and many of you have been with us for generations. That kind of loyalty is something I will never take for granted.
This business has always been more than just trucks, equipment, and buildings. It's been about people. It's been about being there on someone's worst day and doing everything we could to make it just a little bit better. That has always been our mission.
While it's bittersweet to say goodbye, I do so with a heart full of gratitude. I am incredibly proud of what our family, our employees, and this community built together. Those memories and relationships will stay with me forever.
As the company moves into its next chapter under Kitsap Towing, I sincerely wish them success and know they will continue serving this community with pride.
From my family to yours, thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives for so many years. It has truly been the honor of a lifetime.
