The founder, Brandon Meehan, began his career in automotive high-end collision repair industry for BMW of North America. While working with BMW, he has also gained extensive knowledge and experience with body work and paint correction through working with Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, Ferrari and Lamborghini. It was during his time working with these automotive companies that he noticed the improper and poor methods of detailing and paint evaluation carried out by these companies who promised high quality standards. Customers brought in their vehicles that were dull with scratches,swirls and halos as a result of companies performing improper detailing due to poor maintenance education.
Through extensive research and testing different methods with the use of advanced products, he developed processes of detailing and paint correction that brought out the desired depth and clarity to a vehicle's paint work, bringing out the desired showroom appearance. his work ethic is all about quality over quantity. Customers were not only satisfied with their vehicle's appearance, but he also took the time to educate his customers on his methods so that they understood what caused the damage, how he corrected it and how they could maintain that look long term.
While improving methods of detailing, he also noticed an issue with headlights turning yellow and hazy. Not only does this ruin the appearance of the vehicle, but it poses a safety hazard for the driver. Typically, a headlight restoration kit from an autoparts store is prescribed to reverse the fogginess of the light. he noticed that after every application using these types of kits, the headlights would repeatedly return to that hazy condition. Customers would return on a monthly basis to get their hazy headlights fixed again. he set out to find out exactly how these kits worked in order to find the problem. These kits contain a chemical-based material which give the headlights a wet look but is actually not fixing the problem. After some experimenting, Brandon found out the chemicals in these kits just smeared around UV/clearcoat on the outside of the headlights. With more research and experimentation, he developed a unique method of restoring headlights that involved taking off the old, damaged UV protective coating, and reapplying a new UV protective coating. Not only is the headlight restored to its clearest and brightest quality, but the driver can feel safe with better vision at night. Through this method of restoration, the customer can expect the appearance of the lights to last for years as opposed to the kit method, which only lasted a month.
