Part one of our marine upholstery 1999 BAJA boat project begins with a look at one of the BAJA’s original cushions. It came in carrying years of sun and salt, and in this video you’ll see the early steps of bringing it back to solid, sea‑ready condition. We walk through the “before,” the strip‑down, the patterning of new material, and a first fit as the rebuild takes shape. Part two is on the horizon.

Nick and Cody’s Creations delivered this rare 1964 Porsche 356C today after a careful interior restoration focused on authenticity and original detail. Our team repaired the dash and restored the front seats back to true factory spec, matching the materials, patterns, and feel that define this era of Porsche craftsmanship.

Our upholsterer found a small surprise - a partial movie ticket that looks to be from Base Drive-In Theatre, in Hibbing, Minnesota, from the 1960s. A reminder of how long these cars have been part of people’s lives, and how every restoration carries a bit of history with it. (Picture in the comments!)

Proud to return this 356C with its interior renewed, preserved, and ready for the road again.

Last week, I had the opportunity to represent Nick and Cody’s Creations at the Margarita Society of Volusia County’s Merry & Margarita Christmas in July social at Oceanside Country Club. (The Margarita Society, organized in 1988 as a non-profit organization, helps children in need within our community.) It was a relaxed, welcoming evening, and a great way to connect with others and hear what’s ahead for this year’s event.

As a sponsor, one of the most meaningful parts of the night was seeing three $1,500 community grants awarded by the Margarita Society.

Each organization serves an important role of meeting specific needs in our community, and the stories shared reminded everyone in the room how much mentorship, support, and steady relationships can change lives.

Thank you to the Margarita Society for including us in such a thoughtful evening. It’s inspiring to see local groups come together to lift up organizations making a real impact here in Volusia County.
