We are currently hiring for a full time experienced pit man. While l**e shop experience is not a must we do ask that applicants at least have a basic understanding of oil changes and have general automotive knowledge. We are willing to train the right person. Pay will be based on experience. Please apply in person at 1901 Magnolia Avenue in Port Neches.

Again, we will ask for the community to please not dump oil behind our building during non working hours. This is a service that we charge for and you are stealing when you do this not to mention it’s just irresponsible to leave these types of materials out in the open where kids and animals can access them. Please keep in mind, oil and gasoline and other automotive fluids are hazardous to our environment. There are kids in the neighborhood behind us. All it takes is one of them to get into it or for it to fall over and spill and run into the grass or gutter and we could potentially have a very serious problem. Please keep this in mind in the future.

Eastex will have a late opening today and tomorrow due to the freezing temps. Unfortunately this kind of weather puts tremendous amounts of strain on our oil pumps and has damaged our equipment in the past. To help avoid this we will be opening at noon today and it’s looking like 11am tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Hello Eastex Family!! This year, we here at Eastex are looking to give back to a needy family or two in our area. We know how hard it is has been for some and we would like to help lighten the load a little bit.
Please email eastexl**[email protected] with your nominations for a family that could use a little help with Thanksgiving this year. (DO NOT nominate in the comment section, we would like to keep this confidential) We will be gifting two full Thanksgiving dinners with turkey and all the trimming’s to families in need right here in Mid County. Give us names and contact info and a little information to help us get to know your nominee. Families will be selected and notified Friday November 21, 2025.
