Word to the wise, in my field of work, I've learned something that, I hope by you reading this, saves you money. When filling your fuel tank at the pump, do NOT keep adding fuel once the hose kicks off. I realize that the effort is to get the tank "more full". However, the EVAP system that pulls fuel vapors from your tank and stores the fuel smell into your charcoal canister, to burn in your engine as you drive, needs air in the tank for this system to work. If you over fill your tank by making it "more full", the system then pulls actual fuel into your charcoal canister and destroys it. Once destroyed, the check engine light will never stay out until the canister is replaced. This is NOT a cheap repair.
