The Champ Day Festival 2026 is coming up quick! We're kicking off the Weekend on July 31st with Miners Car Show with Frankie & The Moonlighters at The Port Henry Waterfront Farmers Market, followed by Champ Day Festival on August 1st.

We're excited for a (another) great weekend on the lake this season.

Despite our best efforts, people really like our campsites. Our apologies to everyone who liked having this place to themselves.

Secret NYC just featured Hipcamp's list of the "Top 20 Beach Campgrounds in New York", and there we are coming in hot at #19. 🏆

Some would say that is "second to last." We'll call it "Top 20".

In our defense, we only have 3 campsites, and are in the list with 6 State Parks. 3 sites is not a campground, that's a rounding error; and yet we still cracked the list. Imagine what we could do with 4 or 5?

Didn't know we had camping?
In addition to slips and marine services, we offer 3 sites right on Lake Champlain, April through October. Wake up to the water, walk to the Dockside Café, watch the boats come in. It's a whole thing.

P.S. — Back in 2022, Dockwa named us one of their Best Marina Camping Destinations (blog.dockwa.com/best-camp-destinations-dockwa-reservations). So technically we've been "critically acclaimed" for four years now.

Our we**am has been replaced and is back online, now in 4K!

The replacement camera is a big upgrade in resolution (4x better) and night-time performance over the old model.

Viewing it on your 4K capable TV or another high-resolution screen is the best way to see all the sun-rising-boat-floating-wave-action.

For those of you that enjoyed the wild colors of our old camera the last week, we apologize for ruining the party.

The experts* agree, fireworks are best viewed from a boat. 🚤

Here is a list of fireworks displays Today (July 3rd) and Tomorrow (July 4th) that are viewable from the water.

Some are right on the waterfront, some are a few thousand feet from shore, but all are a great way to spend an evening.
