Port Clinton Auto Repair was started in 1949 by Jack Smith, and in the early days was called Jack’s Friendly Mobile gas station. The original shop was located at 210 West Perry on the corner, across from the Jet Express, for 54 years and moved to our new location at 222 Buckeye Blvd. Jack’s motto was affordable, friendly & trusted automobile service. In 1987 Kim took over as owner & operator and changed the name to The Muffler Smiths, Inc. Kim says the customers are what are so great about this business, they become like family! In 2008 Kim's wife Lisa joined Kim in the business. In 2018 Kim & Lisa changed the name to Port Clinton Auto Repair. We are committed to serving our community and we hope to see you soon!

Ever notice that annoying, dark gray or black soot that cakes onto your clean wheels? That isn't road grime, but it’s actually tiny, microscopic shards of metal and carbon!
