Foggy start yesterday as Captain Drew and Brad are making their way towards home with the 64’ from Lauderdale. After clearing the Canals, they ran across Lake Ontario and are currently about 1/3 of the way through the Welland Canal. We look forward to getting it dropped off and onto the next one!!!

Today is the final day to get the Regal to its summer home of Barrington, RI. Had a few weather delays to hold us back a little bit, but in speaking the the owner, they have said that it has been a “great trip” and looking forward to upgrading to something bigger in a few years to explore further and JTA will be the one to do it all.

Last night Captain Drew and Mate Brad tied up in Morehead City as they continue their journey to the Great Lakes. They tied up next to the Jarrett Bay Sportfish “Marlin Fever”. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this boat, it just won The Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament last week with a record 919lb Blue Marlin worth over $6M in winnings!!!! For those who know me, know that I love to run Sportfish Yachts and while I haven’t got to run this particular one, I thought it was appropriate to give these guys a shoutout on a heck of a tournament last week!!!!

Yesterday, we finished up the Riviera 54 delivery from Charleston to Bay Harbor after a small mechanical delay that kept us from moving for a few days while waiting for some service. The owners are now able to use the boat in the fantastic N Michigan area and we couldn’t be more excited for them and to keep working with them. Shoutout to Stefan Knost and Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales on the sale and to Charleston Yacht for getting the boat prepped in Charleston before we left.

In addition to the earlier post with the Regal, this morning Captain Drew and Brad left Ft Lauderdale onboard this newly purchased Lazzara 64 via Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales that is heading to the Detroit area. A fresh interior refit has this Express looking sharp and the owner is ready to get her to the cooler freshwater of the Great Lakes. A fast cruising speed and favorable offshore forecast should get it home in plenty of time for the best Sunsets of June!!!
