We are considering taking on an additional team member!
Ken and I have been working our tails off but we just can not keep up with the work load.
We are not a flat rate shop in the sense of pushing jobs out the door as fast as possible. We focus on quality not quantity. We have a very specific way of doing things and there is no room for arrogance nor ignorance. Our work environment is happy and drama free. If you think you are the best and deserve this position then don’t waste my time because we don’t need you. If you want to learn to diagnose, repair, and customize cars the right way and are willing to learn and except criticism then this may be for you!
Experience is not necessarily required. Apprenticeships are an option. Wages and terms are only discussed in person! We are drug and alcohol free shop “what you do at home is your business within reason “.

The customer had been taking this car elsewhere and was told it had a broken transmission case. He wanted a second opinion so he came to us. Unfortunately the transmission case is broken! It is hard to see in the pictures but the case is broken around the fill plug. I think someone cross threaded the plug in then tried to repair it with silicone. Unfortunately for this customer the case is beyond repair and it will need a new transmission. I hate to see this kind of negligence from other mechanics but unfortunately we see it all too often. We will get him fixed up and back on the road.
Good work aint cheap and cheap work aint good! Good shops are busy and worth waiting for.

Finished up the six pack on the 62 chevy finally! The air cleaners look bulky but I’m happy with them! We were limited on options due to clearance on those carburetors. Although those carburetors work well I would not recommend them to anyone. The work we put in to get them working properly was ridiculous!
