Happy Birthday Ellington!!

Tonight a few of us had the pleasure of spending time with Ellington for his birthday! He is an avid Siren and big truck enthusiast. We got to show him and his family the Fire Hall, Apparatus, and equipment. He was super excited to work the lights and sirens in the fire Engine. Hope to see you in gear that fits you better in the future!

**Residents of County Highway D between Hwy 2 and Hwy 13**

We got paged out at 2:30am Sunday August 9th for a heavy smell of smoke. During our investigation it lead us down some driveways in the area of Hwy D North of Moonshine Road. We had 3 Personal vehicles with hazard lights on, searching for the cause of the smoke. If we pulled down your driveway, we apologize for any scare/concern it may have created for you. If you have any questions please reach out.

As of 3:30am we were unable to locate any source of the smoke, after driving a large footprint to investigate.

Fire Dept Safety Tip:
Get out your w**d wackers, limb trimmers, or chainsaws!!!

Keep your Fire # signs clear of overgrowth. When responding to a call our members are hyper focused on making sure we get to the right spot. The better visible your Fire # is from the road the quicker we can confirm the proper address, the quicker we arrived on scene of the incident.
